Personal Development Plan 🚀

One of my absolute favorite things as a leader, mentor, and coach is working with people on their Personal Development Plan (PDP). 🥰 I’ve built and refined my approach over the years — working with mentees, students, employees, and now clients — and I can’t wait to share it with you soon!
💡 Why does this topic energize me so much?
I recently reflected on how companies defining values they don’t actually live by can be a huge problem (blog post on that coming soon!). But on the flip side, truly knowing your personal core values can lead to some major aha moments—especially when you're triggered or facing a big decision. For example, if security is a core value for you, then jumping into a brand-new industry for your next job might not feel right, even if it looks exciting on paper.
And then there’s the classic “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” question—the one I used to hate when I started my career. My honest thought back then? “I don’t know what’s possible!” But over time, by understanding what I’m good at (and not so good at), I’ve gained clarity. That’s why I’ve built reflection questions into my PDP template—to help you explore possibilities, define your direction, and most importantly, build awareness. Because when awareness is there, you start to see more opportunities around you.
🔹 Job searching? Here’s a common trap.I see so many people, especially women, looking at job postings and fixating on all the requirements they don’t meet. But instead of focusing on what’s missing, what if we focused on strengths and direction instead?
Take my own PDP as an example:
✨ I love storytelling.
✨ I’m obsessed with human-focused strategies.
✨ I adore innovation processes.
✨ Helping people lights me up.
By building my PDP around these strengths, I’ve created alignment in both my corporate and coaching roles. In my corporate job, I now connect innovation with long-term strategy and help align people to it. In my coaching business, I help leaders and individuals gain clarity on their strategies and goals. And yep, I still work on trusting myself instead of listening to my imposter syndrome!
If you’re curious about the PDP template, just send me a message!
Can’t wait to share it with you soon. 🙌
